2026 Spring and Summer Team Outlook
Frequently Asked Questions
When are practices?
During the winter season practices will be on Saturday’s with your team in a 2 hour time slot.
During the spring/summer season practices will be 2X a week, one inside and one outside.
During the fall season practices will be 2X a week, one inside and one outside.
When do I hear back about tryouts?
We like to let our players know within 1 week of their tryout an update on their status (an invitation, further team selection info, or being asked back for further evaluation at another tryout. How are Teams structured at Ghost PA?
We have teams based around skill and positional needs. GHOST NE signifies a top team with a differentiator based on color: Black being the top team, Blue being second team, and White being third team.
How many tournaments does the team play?
This depends on the team, but in general, during the spring/summer season an 8-14u team will play 8 tournaments. A 15-17u team will play 5 events. During the fall season, all age groups will play 4 events. The two seasons: fall versus spring/summer are two separate teams and not necessarily the same players!
Do Dads coach teams?
No, we only use professional coaches, if a Dad has experience and would like to coach, we ask that he coaches a team that his son is not a part of.
How do I receive my uniform?
We are partnered with a vendor that will supply your son’s uniform. In the months leading up to the season a uniform portal will be created specifically for our organization which you can access only during the time period that the uniform needs to be purchased. For spring/summer this is generally late December into early January. In the fall as early as June for new players. Returning players will continue to wear the same uniform for the course of the whole year.
Is there additional training available?
Yes, you can access private lessons through our lesson portal. You can also access NPI trainers to incorporate strength training.
How do I get my son on a National team?
Your son must be recommended by one of the coaches in the program to play at a national level. After the recommendation, if the national tournament director decides to invite your son, you will receive that information through our partner PRD. You must play for our program to get a recommendation.
Can I use the tunnels anytime?
Yes and no. You can use the tunnels at your disposal free of charge with a few rules in place. Our general hours of operation are 4-9pm during the weekdays. Weekends are only open if practices are being held. Also, if a paying customer has a rental or if there is a team practicing in the cage, they will take priority. Please try to bring your own set of baseballs, as most of our baseballs are being used during operational hours.
How do I get Ghost gear?
4-5 times a year, Ryan Busch will put out a store where you can purchase Ghost gear! The store will only remain open for a short period of time so that orders can be processed quickly.
